Diepholz August 10th, 2026 – At IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, artec technologies AG will present the latest evolution of its XENTAURIX® Media & Broadcast Logger platform. The focus is on turning large audiovisual archives into actionable media intelligence and new business opportunities. 25 Years of Innovation – Shaping the Future of XENTAURIX
Building on the 25-year milestone of XENTAURIX and its long-standing IBC presence, artec technologies continues to expand the platform’s capabilities for broadcast monitoring, compliance, research and media analytics.
Under the theme “Monetize the Future of Media Intelligence,” the company will showcase new tools that make media content more accessible, searchable and valuable.
New! XENTAURIX Mobile App
The new XENTAURIX Mobile App extends access to recorded and live media beyond the traditional workstation. Authorised users can access relevant content, review broadcasts and retrieve information directly from their mobile devices—regardless of whether they are in the newsroom, attending an event or working remotely.
The App is designed to provide fast and convenient access to the XENTAURIX platform and its media assets. It supports flexible workflows for journalists, editors, analysts, executives and monitoring teams, enabling them to react more quickly to breaking news, important statements and emerging topics.
By bringing broadcast monitoring and media intelligence to mobile devices, artec technologies is creating new possibilities for location-independent collaboration and informed decision-making
New! AI-Powered VIP Face Recognition Across Multiple TV Channels
Developed in collaboration with Fraunhofer IDMT, XENTAURIX uses AI-powered facial recognition to identify and track relevant individuals across a large number of TV channels.
Users can search for selected persons, locate their appearances and automatically consolidate the results across channels and programmes. This provides a clear overview of when, where and in which context a person appeared.
A reverse search is also possible: unknown faces can be used to find matching appearances in previously recorded content. Combined with speech-to-text and content analysis, XENTAURIX makes extensive broadcast archives searchable and turns the results into valuable media intelligence.
New! Future-Ready Operation with Linux and Kubernetes
XENTAURIX is evolving towards a modern Linux- and Kubernetes-based architecture, delivering enhanced security, greater scalability and increased processing performance for demanding broadcast and media-intelligence workloads.
IBC 2026 Special: Secure Your Free XENTAURIX Upgrade

New! Turning Media & Broadcast Archives into Business Assets
Media organisations hold vast amounts of valuable audiovisual content. XENTAURIX makes this data accessible, searchable and commercially relevant. AI-powered speech-to-text, face recognition and content analysis transform unstructured recordings into actionable media intelligence. This accelerates research, improves content reuse and enables new services and revenue opportunities.
With XENTAURIX, media & broadcast archives become intelligent business assets that support efficient workflows and informed decisions.
