The XENTAURIX Media & Broadcast Logger systems from artec technologies AG capture and process video, audio and metadata from various signal sources. The products are used for TV, radio and video broadcast recording, compliance recording, media monitoring, competition and media monitoring, content recognition and analysis as well as for the production and further processing of video clips and snapshots. For over 20 years, the systems have proven their functionality and reliability to broadcasters, media monitoring agencies, media institutions, training centers and educational institutions.
Ingenious feature: AI-based, multilingual speech recognition
The AI-based multilingual speech recognition (Speech-to-Text, S2T for short) integrated into the XENTAURIX Media & Broadcast Logger systems is a revolutionary feature. Broadcast and webcast channels can now be automatically transcribed in a wide range of languages and optionally translated into a variety of target languages, including English, German, Spanish, French, Arabic and Chinese. The technology automatically takes spelling and grammar rules such as punctuation and capitalization into account, reducing the amount of editorial work on the translated texts to a minimum.
Increased efficiency through automatic transcription and translation
The use of transcription and translation in over 50 different languages offers completely new perspectives for broadcasters, press and news agencies, digital publishers, crisis centers, media monitoring agencies, news services as well as financial and economic sectors. Current news broadcasts are available with an adjustable time delay as transcribed or translated text in English or German, synchronized with the broadcast. Video clips with transcription or just the transcription can be created and forwarded on-the-fly or at a later date. All broadcasts are recorded 24/7 with customer-specific storage time (days, months, years) and can be retrieved and edited at any time. The search engine integrated in the logger enables a targeted search for contributions by entering search words, broadcaster and time period.
Flexible deployment options: In-house system or cloud service
The XENTAURIX Media & Broadcast Logger is available as an in-house system or as a cloud service. The speech-to-text feature is optional and works autonomously without the need for an external S2T provider. The logger systems have a modular design and can process a few to thousands of channels simultaneously, depending on customer requirements, while ensuring maximum operational reliability. Originally developed as a digital video recorder, the XENTAURIX Media & Broadcast Logger has evolved into a multifunctional system. It combines compliance recording, the creation and forwarding of video clips, TV ratings analysis, TV, radio spot and music recognition, website recording, multiscreen and signal monitoring, re-streaming, encoding and transcoding and is therefore ideally suited for even the most demanding applications.
